Outreach = Reach Out
Simply put, outreach is the heart of the church. It’s meeting the needs of our community and world, while expressing God’s love in ways that build relationships and provide opportunities to share God’s plan of salvation. Just as we have all received gifts and talents from God, we must use them to minister to others and to bring glory to God’s name (1 Peter 4:10). Our vision is to love God, love people and disciple nations. We're doing this by getting outside the walls of our church and spreading the Gospel across the nations (Mark16:15).
The world is full of hurting people, and the purpose of our Outreach Ministry, "Helping Hands," is to share God’s love in a tangible way! We desire to be the hands of Jesus by reaching out to those around us. All people are precious to God, so we aim to minister to the needs of the people in the church and the community. "Helping Hands" demonstrates compassion for the homeless with food and clothing, while feeding them with spiritual food through prayer and kindness as well.
